Rainbow is literally the most random dragon to get. I got two a while backby just selecting random dragons:)
if you want moon, do fire/storm or crystal/bluefire between 7pm-7am. Do the same combos for sun but between 7am-7pm

Lol, if you’re getting too many cold dragons the easiest thing to do is sell them. It’s a good way to get money too
. The way I get the majority of my money is breed fire and water dragons together then sell the air dragons I get from it. They are 500,000 coins each so in 8 hours I get a million coins

Many people have trouble breeding a PANLONG dragon and a BLUEFIRE dragon so I think that it’s actually pretty funny that I was able to get both of those on my first try at breeding them. To me, the levels don’t really matter and I’ll explain why I think that when I tell how I got my PANLONG. But, for BLUEFIRE, on my first try, I bred my fire dragon(left) and my iceberg dragon(right) and I checked how t long it would be for the dragons to finish breeding and it said 12 hours and thats how long BLUEFIRE takes. For my PANLONG, I bred my mud dragon(left) and my blazing dragon(right) to make a PANLONG. It takes 36 hours. The reason that I think that levels of the dragons don’t matter is that my blazing dragon was only level 4 and I thought that was funny. Hope this helped!!

I had a Lvl 7 and Lvl 10 I kept getting lava from fire+mountain he is in breeding ATM so now I’ll start on my legendary’s 
crystal+bluefire= rainbow, sun, moon

I just got either sun, moon, or rainbow because I bred poison(left) and panlong(right)

For bluefire, you have to use a hybrid. Mountain+fire or cold + dragonfly. Hybrids are the way to go if you don’t want to waste your money on gems. Hope this helps! Add me on dragonvale! averygnielsen

I just got a sun dragon egg by breeding a level 6 cold dragon with a level 6 firefly. It’s all yellow with a picture of the sun on it. The dragons take almost a full two days to mate and the egg takes another 2 to hatch.

Just breed a level 10 Fire and a level 10 Storm and you should get Sun… or Moon if your lucky. Hope that helped.

Ok, so I was breeding my Quake Dragon on left and Blazing Dragon on right. The time was 48 hours and I’m not sure what dragon it is, but I know it’s a rare dragon. So I look at the elements and it turns out it has to be a rainbow because it has four different elements and no ice element. So I’ll set up the three habitats now and look for the future.
I bred crystal n linchen together to try n get emerald n got a sun dragon. Both were only level 7. Took a few goes though n still never got my emerald

I just breed a cold dragon and a scorch dragon and got a sun dragon! It takes around two dayes to breed and then another 2 to hatch unless u got like 90 gems

Also just bred a moon dragon using scorch and ice on epic breeding island.
All dragons were level 10, and the moon was bred at night, not sure if that matters though. Hope this helps!

Rainbow dragons CAN NOT be breed by CERTAIN dragons. They are random. The system randomly issues them. They unfortunately are one of the rarest and just one of those “lucky chance” type things. All you can do is keep at it. Few people including myself are going to dish out the nearly $80 in real cash for 2500 gems to buy one

Most of the time though the rare dragons are bred with the more normal dragons that r harder 2 get like bluefire, sandstorm, etc. That incude incompatible dragon breeding that u hav 2 use other dragons with the same element and getting lucky or having to try multiple times to get the one u wanted or sometimes with the dragons that take more time to breed. Like the crystal dragon takes 24hrs. The best chance u would hav is from crystal and blue fire bcuz most ppl get rare dragons that way.

Rainbow dragon doesn’t have a certain way that’s more likely to get it. It’s random. Just keep on breeding two dragons that take a vry shotrt time to breed until you get 48hours

To get blue fire do storm on left and fire on right. I got blue fire like that 6/8 times trying to get moon/sun. To get moon/sun/rainbow, do blue fire on the left and crystal on the right. I got sun, moon, and rainbow straight in a row like that.

So at random, I decided to breed my love dragon with a dragon that contained an element that was NOT plant, lightning, fire….even though the sonic dragon had lightning….I bred Sonic left and Love Dragon right…..boom ….first try, 48 hour breeding. And to top it off, from the regular breeding cave no less. Maybe this is good for this month because of the new dragon. I have the new rainbow dragon egg. Very happeh.
I might also add that people think of the colors of the rainbow and the colors of the basic element dragons. Fire, lightning, plant, water, air. It only contains four of these elements. I’m thinking that if elements are are presented by an invisible slot machine, it’s no wonder that the rainbow is so hard to get. Imagine if you only won the jackpot if first was cherry, then orange, then seven, then bomb. There is a huge number of possible outcomes even if it was just those four things. So my theory is that the game will play like a slot machine with whatever cherries or oranges you choose (dragon pairing) and select whatever makes a combination. If I get orange, cherry, bomb, seven, it’d find what it can make out of that and give me that. So if I breed a fire/plant “flower” with a water/air “fog” and I breed them to get water, fire, air, plant…it probably picks what’s first and selects water, fire to give me another air dragon…not my rainbow dragon.
but if it comes out (roygbiv) fire, plant, water, air….boom rainbow. 
the sad part is, we may never know.
I just got my moon dragon.. I breed the cold and firefly and got the moon dragon. Do it around 1000pm cause I heard that to get each dragon u have to do it at a certain time

You won’t get sandstorm with Air and Mud, to get sandstorm, you need AIR (right) level 9 +. MOUNTAIN (left) level 10

RAINBOW DRAGON : I breeded a Storm Dragon Level 10 and a Blazing Dragon Level 10. I tried this same combo 5 or 6 times and eventually got it! I was totally surprised too because I heard its really hard .. when I eventually got it, It said it would take almost 2 days to Breed and then almost 2 days to hatch.

I don’t think levels really matter!
I personally think that the higher the level the easier you could get the dragon, but I bred a level 4 blue fire and level 4 crystal and I got sun.
But I also tried breeding rainbow with level 4 dragons and I couldn’t get it. Then I tried level 10 dragons and I easily got rainbow.
I then sold my rainbow and sun dragon for heaps of money.
If you want heaps of money easily bred water and air to get fog and sell it. The fog dragon can sell for $1,000,000.

Gemstone dragons gives gems instead of money.
They are Emerald(May), Pearl(June) Ruby(July) & Peridot(August)=iron+fog or iron+evergreen or lava+ malachite .
Since May, they’ve been coming out with one each month. And are limited to that month. But if you’re lucky enough to get 2 , you can breed together to get more. I got 1 emerald , 4 pearls, 2 ruby & now trying for peridot .
