Have you ever tried breeding the latest dragons released in Dragonvale? If you don’t have at least one recently released dragon, make the Dragonvale Frostfire Dragon your next dragon to breed. This dragon is very hard to get. Without the right combinations, you will never obtain it. Read on to learn about the basics on the Frostfire Dragon.
Breeding. There are different ways of breeding the Dragonvale Frostfire Dragon. The following are the tried and tested breeding combinations:
- Mate a Scorch Dragon with a Cold Dragon (you may interchange the order)
- Mate a Firefly Dragon with a Cold Dragon
- Mate a Scorch Dragon with an Ice Dragon
- Mate a Firefly Dragon with an Ice Dragon
- Mate a Lava Dragon with a Cold Dragon
How can you tell if what you have is a Dragonvale Frostfire Dragon? First, look at its incubation time. If you see a 12-hour incubation time, then you’ll obtain the Frost Fire Dragon. Another thing to look at is the appearance of its egg. The Dragonvale Frostfire Dragon egg is blue in color with flame-like spots on its shell. You only get 1 XP once this egg hatches.
Do you know how much you’ll earn with a Dragonvale Frostfire Dragon on your island? Check out its earning rates below:
- At level 1 the Frostfire Dragon earns 20 coins per minute
- At level 2 the Frostfire Dragon earns 32 coins per minute
- At level 3 the Frostfire Dragon earns 44 coins per minute
- At level 4 the Frostfire Dragon earns 56 coins per minute
- At level 5 the Frostfire Dragon earns 68 coins per minute
- At level 6 the Frostfire Dragon earns 80 coins per minute
- At level 7 the Frostfire Dragon earns 92 coins per minute
- At level 8 the Frostfire Dragon earns 105 coins per minute
- At level 9 the Frostfire Dragon earns 117 coins per minute
- At level 10 the Frostfire Dragon earns 130 coins per minute
Habitat. Every dragon needs to be placed in its proper habitat. The Dragonvale Frostfire Dragon has the elements of Cold and Fire. Therefore, it can only be placed on either a Cold habitat or a Fire habitat.
Cost. You can purchase the Dragonvale Frostfire Dragon for 100 gems. Once you have your Dragonvale Frostfire Dragon, it’s best to keep it since it earns you a good amount of money. You will earn 500,000 coins should you decide to sell this dragon.

II mated storm level ten on the left and earth level ten on right and got sun first try.. It took 48 hours..I was trying to make sandstorm… But im thinking sometimes its just random.. Ive also heard it helps if you have the habbitats but ive not been able to make moonreguardless..

theres a lot of combination for sun/moon but Storm+Sonic worked for me ..i have 3 sun and 3 moons
brass+cactus= rainbow worked for me
My brother and I got Sun/moon, (don’t know for sure yet) using the same combo, storm and fire. Don’t have a rainbow though, so I could use a little advice on that.

I have two frost fires. The quickest and easiest way for me to get it was using Cold + Poison. I got it on the forth try but the three fails were all poision dragons that only took 30 min.

I got a frostfire with lv 10 cold then lv 7 scorch on my 1st try. I know it’s frostfire because it’s incubating and the egg is light blue with red flames.
My friend showed me a pic of the frostfire dragon and thought ghat it wasn’t real so later she bred it and I knew for sure it was real

Try breeding later. I believe that is how they differentiate between sun and moon. Can’t guarantee anything though.

I just got my frost fire by breeding level 10 cold with level 5 love dragon.
cold and poison is the best combo. I have 2 frostfires just after two to three tries.
Fire and ice works for me only first try, I have two too
Panlong = mud + blazing, two of them, first try too
rainbow, omg, 30+ tries for firefly and seaweed
sun = crystal + bluefire, first try too
for moon, I could not remember since I was trying for the bluefire breeding fire and ice I think, I got sun. I was so happy that I could not remember.
I love the game a lot even though I have to spend money to buy gems but it is so entertaining.
I am sorry, for fire and ice, that is for the bluefire.

What is the point of the epic breeding island
Nothing muc.. Its supposed to give u a boost to bread rare dragons, but most of my limited and rare ones came from the regular breeding cave… But its still good to have cus you can breed more efficiently with two caves..
I think it just gives you the chance to breed more dragons at once. Others do say that it helps you breed opposites easier.
It gives u a better chance of getting rarer dragons

I got a rainbow dragon by breeding a seaweed on the left and a scorch on the right. It took a little time. I’m hoping its not another sun. Suns have an incubation time of 48 hours. That’s exactly the same as a rainbow

first I made a bluefire dragon in one try with fire and mountain dragon then I wanted a second bluefire and it gave me frostfire in one try instead XD
