Have you heard of the Dragonvale’s Reindeer Dragon? Maybe you have not. The Dragonvale’s Reindeer Dragon is a relatively new dragon that has been released by dragonvale. Unlike the Dragonvale’s Rainbow Dragon, the reindeer dragon is relatively easier to breed and obtain.
Reindeer Dragon has the elements of cold and plant dragons and its habitat can either be Cold or plant. However, when reared in cold, it will take twelve hours to hatch. Dragonvale reindeer dragon can be sold for 15,000 coins and five thousand XP. It is generally a level nine dragon.
Even though some players of dragonvale prefer buying the reindeer dragon, there are those who opt for breeding this amazing dragon. If you want to breed a reindeer dragon, you can use a cold dragon which mates with a plant dragon at the breeding cave.
As such, here are some combinations for getting a reindeer dragon:
- Some people have often bred the level 10 cold dragons with the level 10 Tree dragons within a period of five hours to get a reindeer dragon egg.
- Some have used the level 8 snow dragon combined with the level 8 plant dragon without much success though others have succeeded with this combination after several trials.
- There are those who claim that if you try getting a reindeer dragon using plant and storm, you will not be successful because the combination does not make sense and is rather too easy because of their short breeding time and therefore is not worth trying. However, snow and tree combination may be a sure way of getting the reindeer dragon.
- There are also those who claim that the best combination is the cold dragon and the moss dragon and that the probability that you will get a reindeer dragon on the first try with this combination is quite high.
- You can also try Fire dragon with a swamp dragon as there are those who have got a reindeer dragon with this combination.
- Some have also used level 10 snow and level 10 willow dragon to get reindeer dragon.
- Some have also mated the fog dragon and the plant dragon with success.
- If you love adventure, try out the blue fire dragon and the plant dragon and you will be luck enough to get the reindeer dragon.
- You can also use the ice dragon with the moss dragon with certain success at getting a reindeer dragon.
- Poison and air dragons can be used with the mountain dragon to get the reindeer dragon.

Since Reindeer is made of cold and plant. The cold boost will effect (+) the cold but (-) the plant. So neutral. The plant boost will do the opposite. So anywhere you place it, it will be both +/- or none. Thus no place is better than another. Hope this helps.

No, it’s a gonner. It was no longer available with the same update that switched the scenery from “winter” back to green (spring/summer?).

Panlong can still be bred in spring. I missed the love and reindeer dragons, but i have a panlong that will hatch tomorrow.

I got a reindeer dragon in August.
IT’S BACK!!! Wasnt playing DRAGONVALE last year, so missed out…. But just back in the game…. Just bred Snow (level 11) + Flower (level 11) and got 5 hours breeding…. So fingers crossed!!

Plant + Lichen is best combination. You either get a Lichen at 6 hrs (5 for upgrade breeding) or a Reindeer at 5 hrs (4 for upgraded breeding). Good luck everyone!
Sorry, tried that combo & absolutely no luck…. I think sometimes, there are some random combos that result in certain dragons…. As such, I haven’t been able to get this dragon again…. Don’t understand??? Are you able to explain? Backflip or DRAGONVALE Net???
