Backflip Studios recently added a fun and addicting mini-game in our favorite game, Dragonvale. The mini-game is none other than the Dragon Races. One of the race tracks is called the Dragonvale Shimmering Faultline. It is important for players to know about this race track, particularly the people who have just updated their app. That’s why we have collected useful pieces of information about the Dragonvale Shimmering Faultline.

Playing the Dragonvale race is simple. To start, you just need to tap on the Dragon Track. Afterwards, tap on Races button and then select a participant from your dragons. To be on the lead, wait for the small line (in front of your dragon) to overlap the long line and then tap the screen immediately.

All race tracks, including the Dragonvale Shimmering Faultline, have common elements.  The dragons that compete in a race match with the common elements of the race track. Therefore, you also need to match your participating dragon with the common element. By doing this, you will have the chance to be victorious in the race. These are the common elements of the Dragonvale Shimmering Faultline:

• Earth element
• Lightning element

Below are the recommended dragons for the Dragonvale Shimmering Faultline race track:

• Crystal Dragon
• Quake Dragon

Both of these dragons carry the common elements of the Dragonvale Shimmering Faultline. If you don’t have these dragons yet, you can just get Earth dragons or Lightning dragons participate in the race. Getting the Epic Dragons and Gemstone Dragons to participate is also a good option. These types of dragons are competitive in all race tracks.

Players can participate in the Dragon Races as long as they have money to pay the participation fee of 50,000 Dragonvale Cash. It’s quite expensive so you need to do your best to earn a reward. You can possibly have gems, Experience, Treats or Dragonvale cash if you win the race. The amount will depend on your place in the race. There are three wheels to spin. The first to finish the race gets to spin the gold wheel. The second to finish the race gets to spin the silver wheel. Finally, the third to finish the race gets to pin the bronze wheel. One or a couple of gems can only be won when you place first.
